WATER AND SEWER
NEW SERVICE
New customers may establish water and sewer service by contacting the city clerk. The city maintenance staff will meet with the customer. The customer will be required to complete an application for service and pay a deposit of $50 plus a non-refundable connection fee of $50.
BILLING
Payment of the monthly water and sewer bills are due by the 10th day of each month.
If payment is not made by the 10th day of the month, a $20 late fee is added to the bill.
If bill is not paid by the 15th day of the month, the service will be disconnected.
CONNECTION FEE
Any time the water service is reconnected, a connection fee of $50 shall be added to the bill.
TERMINATION FEE
Persons closing their account shall be assessed a disconnection fee of $50.
MONTHLY FEE SCHEDULE
The first 1,000 gallons are charged $71.99. This fee includes $40.00 for water, $25.00 for sewer service, $.99 service fee, and $6.00 water tower fee.
Any water use above 1,000 gallons is charged at the rate of $1.00 per every 100 gallons of water.
BULK WATER SALES
Bulk water shall be sold at the rate of $10 per every 1,000 gallons. An additional $25 connection fee shall be charged on each purchase.
The city provides water and sewer services.
